PLEASE PLEASE I NEED HELP

Set the two expressions equal to each other and solve for x. Is there a solution for x? Why or why not? If there is a solution, what is it?

3x + 2x + 2 = 5x + 5 Combine like terms

5x + 2 = 5x + 5 Subtract 5x on both sides

2 = 5

There is not a solution for x because the x's cancel each other out

Answer:

No there is not

Explanation:

Combine like terms so 3x+2x= 5x so it would leave you with 5x+2 In the problems there is a 5x in both and a 2 in one and a 5 in the other so they could not be possible to solve because what ever you do 5x+5 will always be 3 more then the other.
