PLEASE PLEASE I NEED HELP

Set the two expressions equal to each other and solve for x. Is there a solution for x? Why or why not? If there is a solution, what is it?

ok so first set them equal to each other

3x + 2x + 2 = 5x + 5
now combine the x's on the left

5x + 2 = 5x + 5
next to get rid of one on the x's you's have to move one of the 5's to the other side and subtract. keaving you with

2 = 5
there are no x's so therefore there is no solutuon :)
