Given that:

The Area of a square = a² ;

Where a = side length

Hence, we Can get the area of the square tile using the area of square formula :

Area of square tile = 11² = 121 in²

Area in feets :

1 ft² = 144 in²

x = 121 in²

144 x = 121

x = 121 / 144

x = 0.840 ft²
