PLEASE HELP!!!

Compounds A and B are used in an experiment.

The equation A=30,000(12)t represents the remaining amount of compound A, in milligrams, after t seconds. The table shows the remaining amount of compound B.

Time (sec) mg of B

1 12,000

2 6,000

3 3,000

What is the positive difference in the initial amount of each compound?

Answer: 6000 is the difference between the initial amount of each compound.

Explanation:

Since, The equation
A=30,000(12)^t represents the remaining amount of compound A, in milligrams, after t seconds.

Since initially t =0 sec,

So, the amount by A =
30000(12)^0=30000

And, According to the given table, we can say that every second the amount by compound B is decreasing to its half.

If In one second the amount by compound B is 12000

therefore, initial amount = 24000

Thus, the total difference between the amount by A and B initially= 30000-24000=6000
