The slope is : -8/1

Explanation:

2-y=8x

We need to get “y” by itself , so subtract “ 2 “ from both sides

-y=8x-2

Then we still have to get “ y” by itself , but it’s Negative “y” now! Divide both sides by “ negative one “ (-y is just like -1y).

-y/-1 = 8x/-1 (-2/-1)

* I put the -2/-1 on () just to organize it *

y = -8x +2

2: y-intercept

-8: slope

[ y = -8x + 2 ] and this called the y-intercept form .✨
