The cell needs glucose for energy. Why doesn’t the cell use a simple glucose channel and facilitated diffusion?

Step-by-step explanation:

Glucose is large and can not fit through the protein channel it's also a polar compound and the phospholipids are non-polar so the phospholipid membrane will repeal the glucose.
