The measure of Angle E, the angle of elevation from point A to point B, is left-parenthesis 3 x plus 1 right parenthesis-degrees. The measure of Angle D, the angle of depression from point B to point A, is 2 left-parenthesis x plus 8 right parenthesis-degrees. Find the measure of each angle.

Answer:

Each angle measures 22 degrees.

Explanation:

Given that A is a point on the ground, and B is above the ground. angle of elevation for seeing B from A is given as angle E = 3x+1

Angle of depression = angle D = from point B to A = 2x+8

Since we have angle of depression = angle of elevation

3x+1 = 2x+8

Or x = 7 degrees

Hence answer is

Angle of elevation: 3x+1 = 22 degrees

and angle of depression = 2x+8 = 22 degrees.
