The intercepts of the line (there are usually 2 of them are where the line crosses the x and y axis.

All you have to do is read where the line crosses the axis.

The x intercept crosses the x axis at (-7,0) Intercepts always have one of their parts = 0.

The y intercept crosses the y axis at (0,2) Notice that the x and y intercepts have a zero as 1 on the coordinates.
