Answer:

Explanation:

The length after the increase:

30 x 1.1 = 33cm

The width after the increase:

20 x 1.05 = 21cm

New perimeter:

2(33 + 21) = 108 cm^2

Old perimeter:

2(30 + 20) = 100 cm^2

Percentage increase of area:

108 / 100 = 1.08 = 8% increase
