There is one cell in a flask in a lab.The number of cells double every 15 minutes. How many cells are there after 2 hours?

Hey there!

So, we can put it like this:

2 hours is 8 sets of 15 minutes. We can use ordered pairs:

(2,15)

(4, 30)

(8, 45)

(16, 60)

(32, 75)

(64, 90)

(128, 105)

(256, 120)

There are 256 cells after 2 hours.
