Look at the picture.

The slope-intercept form: y = mx + b

m - slope

b - y-intercept

m=(\Delta y)/(\Delta x)

We have
y=(4)/(5)x-1

b=-1\to(0,\ -1)

m=(4)/(5)\to(\Delta y)/(\Delta x)=(4)/(5)

4 units up and 5 units right
