Explanation:

Line AC and CB both multiply to the same amount that lines DC and CE do.

Line CB is equal to 10 - 4 = 6

So then 4 x 6 is equal to line DC,

But the result is 24, so we need to divide by 8 to find the lone side:

24 ÷ 8 = 3

So line DC = 3

Line DE = DC + CE = 3 + 8

Which means the line is 11!
