the question is the volume of the cube is 512 cubic inches what is the length of each side of the cube.

Answer:170.67in^3 (rounded to nearest hundredth)
The volume of a cube is the side cubed, in other words the length of the the side to the third power. Since the volume is given, all you have to do is divide it by three. This only works for cubes though. I recommend to have a cheat sheet with all the formulas for area, volume, surface area, etc. Here’s mine. Feel free to save it and copy it.

Answer: 8

Step-by-step explanation: because the formula is V=a^3, we can reverse this by cube rooting our V value, in this case 512, to get 8. we can check this by putting 8 to the third, or multiplying 8 3 times.
