We have a figure in which point A, B,C and D are represented .The point A is represents (-4) , B represents (-2), C represents positive 2 and D represents positive 4.

It means we have to multiply (-2) with negative sign

We know that when we multiply a negative number with negative sign then the value of a negative number should be positive.

Therefore, When we multiply (-2) and negative sign then we get the value is 2.
