at the risk of sounding redundant.

\bf 2y=3x+12\implies y=\cfrac{3x+12}{2}\implies y=\cfrac{3x}{2}+\cfrac{12}{2} \\\\\\ \stackrel{slope}{y=\stackrel{\downarrow }{\cfrac{3}{2}}x+6}\impliedby \begin{array}ll \cline{1-1} slope-intercept~form\\ \cline{1-1} \\ y=\underset{y-intercept}{\stackrel{slope\qquad }{\stackrel{\downarrow }{m}x+\underset{\uparrow }{b}}} \\\\ \cline{1-1} \end{array}

Answer: The slope is 3/2

Explanation:

2y = 3x+12

2/2 & 3/2 & 12/2

y = 3/2x + 6

Y = MX + B

M=slope

The slope is 3/2
