PLEASE HELP

While standing Fernando's feet contact the ground with an area of 0.08. While laying on the ground, his body contacts the ground with an area of 0.6. If Fernando's body has a mass of 75 kg, how much more pressure does he exert while standing compared to laying down? Use the conversion factor of 1 kg = 10 N. Round your answer to the nearest whole number.

Answer:

8125 Pa

Step-by-step explanation:

Pressure exerted= Force/ area of contact

we calculate the force he is excerting = mg

= 75 X 10

= 750N

Pressure exerted while standing= 750/0.08

= 9375 Pa

pressure exerted while laying down = 750/0.6

= 1250 Pa

the difference in pressure= 9375 - 1250

= 8125 Pa.
