y = 5x +6

Explanation:

parallel lines have the same gradient.

thus y= 5x -3 has a gradient of 5

Choosing another point to be (X,y) we can calculate the gradient of line 2

G = ∆y/∆x

5 = y+4/X +2

we cross multiply

5(X + 2) = y + 4

5x + 10 = y+ 4

y = 5x +6
