it's a two step equation.

so you're trying to find how much Geo earned per hour right? so you'll have the variable with 3

3D ( for dollars ) + $7.50=18.75

First step is to subtract 7.50 from both sides of the equation. you'd subtract 7.50 from itself ( which would cancel out !) and 18.75, which would end up being

3D = 11.25

then divide by 3 on both! you want to get rid of the 3, you want to get D by it's self.

D = whatever 11.25 divided by 3 is
don't forget to label! idk if you're teacher acres if you label your answer. but it's definitely important. so you'd say D = _____ for dollars per hour.

hope this helps! this took a while to wright out so hope it helped :)
