In most places, it is only possible to see 2,000 stars in the nighttime sky due to light pollution. This is 4/15 as many stars as you can expect to see in the sky at Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah. How many stars can you expect to see at Bryce Canyon?

Let the no. of stars one can expect to see at Bryce Canyon be x.

Given that : No. of stars visible in the night sky = 2000

Also, given that, it is 4/15 of x.

Now, we have

(4)/(15)x = 2000\\\\x= (2000 * 15)/(4) = 7500

∴ You can expect to see 7,500 stars at Bryce Canyon.
