1 +
1^(22) +
9^(1) = ?

So solving math problems, always use PEMDAS

PEMDAS is the Order of Operations

It stands for Parenthesis, Exponents, Multiplication, Division, Addition, Subtraction.

An easy way to remember PEMDAS is Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally

So, in this problem, since there are no Parenthesis (), you got to Exponents.

1^(22) is equal to 1 because all you do is multiply 1 by itself 22 times

9^(1) is equal to 9 because all you do is multiply 9 by 1, in other words, you dont do anything to it

So, 1 + 1 + 9 = 11

Your answer is 11

Hope this helps
