5 1/6 = 31/6
2 1/4 = 9/4
31/6 x + 9/4 = 10
31/6x = 10 - 9/4
31/6 x = 40/4 - 9/4
31/6 x = 31/4
Multiply 6 in both sides and divide 31 on both sides:
1/6x = 1/4
x = 6/4 = 3/2
