PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!! Which type of conflict is evident in the following passage from Tom Sawyer?

A deep peal of thunder went rolling and tumbling down the heavens...Another fierce glare lit up the forest, and an instant crash followed that seemed to rend the treetops right over the boys' heads. They clung together in terror, in the thick gloom that followed.

individual vs. technology

individual vs. self (internal conflict)

individual vs. nature

individual vs. society

individual vs. individual

Answer:

individual vs. nature

Step-by-step explanation:

"A character vs. nature conflict occurs when a character faces resistance from a natural force (as opposed to a supernatural force). This can mean the weather, the wilderness, or a natural disaster." - Masterclass

A deep peal of thunder went rolling and tumbling down the heavens...Another fierce glare lit up the forest, and an instant crash followed that seemed to rend the treetops right over the boys' heads. They clung together in terror, in the thick gloom that followed.

Hope this helps.
