The answer is 7 tenths.

One fifth is equal to two tenths.

So in that case 2 fifths is a total of 4 tenths.

4 tenths plus 3 tenths is 7 tenths. Or you can say 3 fifths plus 1 tenth.

Hope this helps you!

To add fractions, you have to find a common denominator.

2/5 + 3/10 So change the 2/5 to 4/10

4/10 + 3/10 You get 7/10, which can't be simplified.
