Homeostasis in unicellular organisms depends on the proper functioning of organelles. Homeostasis is the ability to maintain a stable internal environment, when referring to the state of equilibrium (includes many key variables). It also refers to any process that living things use to actively maintain fairly stable conditions necessary for survival.
The organelles are the working parts of a cell. A unicellular organism doesn’t have systems, the organelles are responsible for maintaining homeostasis in the cell. Organelles are like smaller rooms within the factory, with specialized conditions to help these rooms carry out their specific task. Organelles are found in the cytoplasm.
