be x the distance of the ship till to cliff, as you can observe the figure and applying tangent in a triangle rectangle

tg α= CO / X⇒X = CO/tgα ⇒ X = 50/ tg 22° ⇒x = 123,75 the distance of the yacht till the base of the cliff is 123,75 m
