Why did Jesús give himself as the sacrifice for out sins(i just want to know :/ )

honestly what my parents told me was cause the unholy people hated jesus and and wanted to die...

God sacrificed his Son, Jesus, so we would be able to live forever. As of now we are living in a world the devil controls, but when we live under Christ’s Kingdom, we will never die.
