Answer;
Helium
Explanation;
Helium is the element that occurs in many natural gas wells, its nucleus is equivalent to an alpha particle.
Helium is a noble gas and is normally generated as a byproduct of the processing of natural gas.
Natural gas comprises of methane and other hydrocarbons, which are the sources of heat energy when natural gas undergoes combustion.
Helium that is generated from natural gases forms from the radioactive decay of uranium and thorium in the rocks of the Earth's crust.
The nucleus of helium element contains 2 protons and two neutrons, which means it has an atomic number of 2 and a mass number of 4. Similarly
an alpha particles is made up of 2 protons and 2 neutrons, thus alpha particle is similar to the nucleus of Helium element.
