A study of sexuality among older adults performed by doctors of the New England Journal of Medicine in 2007, concluded that 26% of people in the age range between 75 to 85 years remain active. Out of the men surveyed in this age range, 71% were married vs 37% of married women. About 50% of the surveyed women in this age range were widowed.
