in order to rewrite an equation in slope-intercept form (y=mx+b) all you have to do is solve the equation for y.

x-19y=-19

subtract x from both sides

-19y=-19-x

divide both sides by -19 (divide BOTH terms on right side)

y=1+1x/19

rearrange terms to match slope-intercept form (you could do this from the beginning)

y=1x/19+1

i hope this is a good explanation. if you need further explanation, i can definitely help!
