Answer : B

slope = 5/8

given point is (-8,-4)

Use point slope formula

y - y1 = m (x - x1)

m = 5/8 , x1 = -8 and y1 =-4

Plug in all the values in the formula


y - (-4) =(5)/(8)(x - (-8))


y+4 =(5)/(8)x + 5

Subtract 4 on boths ides


y=(5)/(8)x + 1

So answer is option B
