The outer core is basically a fluid layer of iron and nickel. And the fluid lies below the mantle kinda. The Outer Core is the second to last layer of the Earth. It basically creates the magnetic field of the Earth. It i really really hot like 4000-5000 degrees Celsius.

Hope this helped kid :)

The outer core of the Earth is a liquid layer and it is mainly made up of the metals iron and nickel.

It's also made up of small amounts of other substances.

The outer core is responsible for Earth's magnetic field.

The outer core is the second layer of the Earth.
