8x + 32 = (1)/(5)(25x - 15) - 4x

12x + 32 = (1)/(5)(25x - 15)

5(12x + 32) = 5 * (1)/(5)(25x - 15)

60x + 160 = 25x - 15

35x = -175

x = -5

Answer: x = -5

Step-by-step explanation:

8x + 32 =
(1)/(5)(25x - 15) - 4x

8x + 32 = 5x - 3 - 4x distributed
(1)/(5) to 25x - 15

8x + 32 = x - 3 added like terms 5x and -4x

7x + 32 = -3 subtracted x from both sides

7x = -35 subtracted 32 from both sides

x = -5 divided both sides by 7
