PLZ HELP.......

Graph the system of inequalities. Then use your graph to identify the point that represents a solution to the system.

x < 2
y ≤ 2x - 3


a. ( -1, -6 )

b. ( -1, -4 )

c. ( 3, 1 )

d. ( -11, 1 )

Greetings!

Firstly, is an inequality is smaller than a number but not equal to, the line is dotted. So as x is smaller than two, there will be a dotted line along the two on the x axis (see screenshot).

Next, because y is smaller than or equal to 2x - 3, the line is solid.

Now these can be drawn together on the same graph, look at third screenshot for the graph.

Now simply find the points that have been mentioned and see whether they are in the sector that is shaded in by each equation.

In this case, ( -1 , -6) is inside this sector, so a is your answer.
