Graphing a line given it’s equation in standard form

1 Answer

You'd first change the equation to slope-intercept form.

For example:

-2x + y = 6

You'd add 2x to both sides -

-2x + y + 2x = 6 + 2x

y = 2x + 6

So you'd graph y = 2x + 6

___

Hope this helped!
