Answer:

The number can be 43.2 or 23.4.

Explanation:

Given : I have tens ones and tenths. my digits are next-door numbers and add up to 9.

To find : What number am I?

Solution :

The next-door numbers are defined as any two or three consecutive numbers add to make an odd number.

Sum of the digits of numbers is 9.

So, the three consecutive numbers we can take are 2,3,4 as their sum is 9.

I have tens ones and tenths.

We take any number in order.

Number at tens place = 4

Number at unit place = 3

Number at tenths place = 2

The number became,

n=4* 10+3* 1+2* (1)/(10)

n=40+3+0.2

n=43.2

or we can take,

Number at tens place = 2

Number at unit place = 3

Number at tenths place = 4

The number became,

n=2* 10+3* 1+4* (1)/(10)

n=20+3+0.4

n=23.4

The number can be 43.2 or 23.4.

Answer:

As given The number possessed by me consist of tens , ones and tenths.

As numbers are next door numbers.

Sum of the digits of numbers = 9

Number at tens place = 4

Number at unit place = 3

Number at tenths place = 2

So , Number = 4 × 10 + 3 ×1 + 2 ×
(1)/(10)

= 40+ 3 +
(2)/(10)

= 43 + 0.2

= 43.20
