this is an arithmetic sequence whose n th term ( explicit formula) is


a_(n) =
a_(1) + (n - 1 )d

where d is the common difference and
a_(1) the first term

here d = 10 - 8 = 8 - 6 = 6 - 4 = 2 and
a_(1) = 4, hence


a_(n) = 4 + 2(n - 1 ) = 4 + 2n - 2 = 2n + 2 → A
