The adjectives that go before a noun are bon, petit and vieux.
A little trick to remember what adjectives go before a noun is to remember the acronym BAGS. B for beauty. A for age. G for goodness. S for size.
For example:
B(eauty): beau, joli
A(ge): jeune, vieux, nouveau
G(oodness): bon, meilleur, mauvais, gentil, faux
S(ize): petit, grand, haut, gros, court, long
Autre and même also come before a noun.
But be careful because some adjectives won't fit this acronym. For example, âgé and méchant are considered age and goodness, respectively but do not go before a noun. They go after.
