Answer

Find out the fraction of the total sales did each salesperson sell .

To prove

As given

The two salespeople for a local advertising firm are Trinity and Jason.

Trinity sold $2030 in ads and Jason sold $1540.

Total sales = $2030 + $1540

= $ 3570

Now

Trinity\sales\ fraction = (Trinity\ sales)/(Total\ sales)

put all the value in the above

Trinity\sales\ fraction = (2030)/(3570)

simplify the aboves

Trinity\sales\ fraction = (29)/(51)

Jason\sales\ fraction = (Jason\ sales)/(Total\ sales)

put all the value in the above

Jason\sales\ fraction = (1540)/(3570)

simplify the aboves

Jason\sales\ fraction = (22)/(51)

Therefore the sales fraction are

Trinity\sales\ fraction = (29)/(51)

Jason\sales\ fraction = (22)/(51)
