Answers are as follows
Graph 1 - slope is between 0 and 1 - I can’t read the lines for an exact rise/run but it looks like a slope of 1/3.
Points (-6, 0) and (0, 2)
Y2 - y1 over x2 - x1
2-0 over 0 - -6
2/6 = 1/3
Graph 2 - slope is greater than 1, I can’t read the lines for an exact rise/run but it looks like a slope of 4
Points ( 1/2, 0) and (1, 2)
Y2 - y1 over x2 - x1
2-0 over 1 - 1/2
2 over 1/2 = 4
(2 divided by 1/2, remember when you divide fractions you flip the divisor and multiply.
2 x 2/1 = 4)
Graph 3 - slope is less than zero, it goes down from left to right so it is negative slope
Graph 4 - slope is undefined (vertical line) and it is not included in your answer boxes
Graph 5 - slope is zero, a horizontal line has 0 rise
