Answer : option A

From the graph

Vertex (-3,1)

Focus (-1,1)

The distance between vertex and focus is P

Distance between vertex and focus = -1 -(-3) = 2

P= 2

General equation for horizontal parabola is

(y-k)^2= 4p(x-h)

(h,k) is the vertex

Vertex (-3,1) so h= -3 and k =1, we know p = 2

So equation becomes

(y-1)^2= 4(2)(x-(-3))

(y-1)^2= 8(x+3)

Answer : option A
