Slope-intercept form: y = mx + b

m = slope

b = y-intercept

The equation would be: y = 5x

There is no y-intercept, since the point is (0,0)

Slope intercept form:

y = mx + b

"m" is the slope, "b" is the y-intercept (the y value when x = 0)

Since you know the slope is 5, and the y-intercept is 0, you can plug it into the equation.

y = mx + b

y = 5x + 0 or y = 5x
