I need some help can you explain what the mean absolute deviation is clearly

Ok so the average absolute deviation of a set of data is also the average of the absolute deviations from one central point. It is also the summary statistic of statistical dispersion or variability. In this one general form,the one central point can be either the mean, the median, the mode, or the result of another measure of the central tendency.
