Answer:

96 cups

Explanation:

We need to have the same measurement to do calculations. We can convert qaurts into cups. The conversion factor is:

1 quart = 4 cups

Therefore:

=4\cdot{4}=16

4 quartz is 16 cups.

So he must mix 16 cups of green paint with 2/3 cups of black paint. The ratio is:

=16/(2/3)=24

24 cups of green paint to 1 cup of black paint. For 4 cups of black paint you need:

=24\cdot{4}=96

96 cups of green paint

Answer: 8 quarts of green paint is needed to be mixed with 4 cups of black paint to make Jasper green.

Explanation:

Since we have given that

To make a shade of paint call Jasper green,

(2)/(3)\text{ cups of black paint is needed to mix with 4 quarts of green.}

So, we will use " Unitary method " i.e.

\text{ 1 cup of black paint is needed to mix ,}

4* (3)/(2)\text{ quarts of green paint }\\\\=6\text{ quarts of green paint}

Now, we need to calculate how much of green paint is to be mix with 4 cups of black paint,

4 cups of black paint needs

4* 2=8\text{ quarts of green color}

Hence, 8 quarts of green paint is needed to be mixed with 4 cups of black paint to make Jasper green.
