This lesson is designed to have students put their math skills to the test as they are learning about so, will have to solve math problems to help the Hershey Chocolate Factory. This means students ,It takes approximately 500 beans to make 1 pound of chocolate, so therefore each tree produces about 2 pounds of chocolate a year.
