Answer: The answer is (C)
y=(x-2)^2.

Step-by-step explanation: We are given two graphs of functions F(x) and G(x) having same shape. The graph of F(x) passes through the origin and is defined by

F(x)=x^2.

We are to find the equation of the graph of G(x).

Since the graph of G(x) is shifted right 2 units from the graph of F(x), so x will be replaced by (x - 2).

Therefore, the equation of the function G(x) becomes

G(x)=(x-2)^2..

Thus, (C) is the correct option.

g(x) = (x-2)^2

when we shift left or right we replace the x with our new x including the shift

(x-2) will shift it right units

(x+2) will shift it left 2 units

Choice C
