The slope of a line that consists of the two points is found through the equation (y_{2}-y_{1})/(x_{2}-x_{1})

(13 - 8)/(5 - 2) = x

(5)/(3) = 1.66666666666.............. or 1.67

slope = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

= (13-8)/ (5-2)

= 5/3

The slope is 5/3
