Brett and Adam both went for a run.
Brett ran a total of 9 1/2 miles, while Adam ran 5.75 miles. How much further did Brett run?

He ran 3.75 miles more than adam

Brett ran 9 1/2 miles or 9.5 miles

Adam ran 5.75 miles

9.5 - 5.75 = 3.75

Brett ran 3.75 miles more than Adam
