This is the Fibonacci sequence, which is neither arithmetic nor geometric, since each term doesn’t have a common quotient or difference. Fun fact, as the sequence goes on for a while, the common quotient approaches 1.618, the golden ratio, however this is irrelevant, and the answer is neither

Answer:

neither Arithmetic nor Geometric

Explanation:

describes the sequence 1, 1, 2, 3, 5.........

If a sequence is arithmetic then there should be a constant difference between two terms.

1-1=0

2-1=1

3-2=1

5-3=2

There is no constant difference , so it is not arithmetic

If a sequence is Geometric then there should be a common ratio between two terms.

(1)/(1) =1

(2)/(1) =2

(3)/(2) =1.5

There is no common ratio , so it is not Geometric

It is neither Arithmetic nor Geometric
