The formula of a volume of a cylinder:

V=\pi r^2H

We have r = 7 and H = 4. Substitute:

V=\pi(7^2)(4)=\pi(49)(4)=196\pi\ u^3

V = pi * r^2 *h

where r is the radius and h is the height of the cylinder

V = pi * 7^2 *4

V = pi* 49*4

pi is approximated by 3.14 or 22/7

V = 22/7 * 49 * 4

V = 616 units ^3
