Read the passage.

Dussel has not been on speaking terms with Van Daan for ten days and just because, ever since the burglary, a whole lot of fresh security measures have been made that don't suit him. He is not supposed to sit in the office downstairs on Saturday afternoons and Sundays anymore, but he goes on doing it just the same. Which best describes Dussel's traits, based on his actions?

A. He is independent and clear headed.
B. He is brave and righteous.
C. He is selfish and inconsiderate.
D. He is grumpy and immature.

D) he is grumpy and immature. The reasoning behind this is that Dussel has not spoken with the Van Daans for 10 days, making him considerably grumpy. He is also not supposed to sit in the office downstairs on saturdays and sundays, but does it anyways. This behavior reminds one of the behavior of a child, leading up to why Dussel is dubbed as “immature” aswell. I hoped this helped, I read the book not too long ago so I still remember alot if you have any more questions, let me know !!
